Interview with Abby Roper from Vision 4 Youth. Original Broadcast - 14th December 2025.Jade was joined by Abby Roper from Vision 4 Youth, a local charity based in Yateley that supports young people aged 11–25 through youth clubs, detached street-based work, social-prescribing, skills development, training and community activities. Vision 4 Youth exists to empower young people, help them develop confidence and capabilities, and create safe, positive spaces where they belong and grow. Abby shares a thoughtful, honest conversation about why getting young people off the streets matters for wellbeing, and how offering fun, structured spaces helps prevent boredom, which can too often be where risk, alienation or offending starts. They talk about community connection, supporting young people before problems escalate, and how Vision 4 Youth’s work creates environments where young people can feel seen, supported and purposeful.
