Just over a week to go to our big community event at Manor Park marking the 80th anniversary of VJ Day!
The event, next Friday (August 15), includes a parade of veterans’ associations and uniformed youth groups, readings, and music from Lorrie Brown, paying tribute to Vera Lynn. It ends around 9.15pm with the lighting of the beacon.
