Join local artists at the Library Green (green space between Farnborough Library and Farnborough Skate Park) to creatively explore how we should care for our urban green spaces. We’ll gather at the Farnborough Library, and then go outside to enjoy interactive movement, installation activities, and draw on the hoardings next to the pond. All materials and refreshments are provided, suitable for ALL.
This is a FREE event, but places are limited. Please make sure you reserve your spot via the link below:
11:00 am - 12:00 pm for creative activities, followed by a shared picnic.
The Places That Link Us is an outdoor arts project reaching across Rushmoor. Led by local artists Barbara Touati-Evans and Judita Vivas, the project aims to inspire local communities through the creation of a new community garden, outdoor sculptures, and performances, providing opportunities for people to come together outdoors and increasing awareness of local green spaces. Funded by Farnborough Airport Community Environmental Fund and Pride in Place / UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
