Farnborough Donkey Derby - Monday 26th May

The Rotary Clubs of Farnborough and Rushmoor's famous Donkey Derby is back on Monday 26th May from 12-5pm at King George V Playing Fields, Farnborough.

It is just a month now until 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓! Organised by your two Rotary clubs in the borough, Farnborough Rotary and Rushmoor Rotary, we are providing some great entertainment! This year, in addition to the traditional donkey races, we will have the 𝐊𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬 in the main arena. They will re-create two fantastic 40-minute epic plays of “A Tale of Richard the Lionhearted” and “The Legend of King Arthur”.

On our main stage, we will have 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐱 and the 𝐕𝐨𝐱𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐫 playing, and as always, we will have the 𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫 on site, 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐤, 𝐏𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐲, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰 and the 𝐃𝐨𝐠 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰.

With 𝟓𝟎 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬, some charity-based, for you to visit and food and drink outlets as well, there will be plenty to do and see. Our local Inner Wheel Clubs will be selling refreshments in the Pavilion, and the proceeds from this will be donated to charities of their choice.
